NUsocialgraph

is a social network graph of the various student groups, majors, greek life, and unique cross sections of the Northwestern community that define Northwestern. We created NUsocialgraph in an attempt to better understand the complex ways students interact to form a university.

The intersecting relationships between student groups often remain hidden, only surfacing in an angry letter to an editor or in spaces such as Sustained Dialogue. We're hoping that by making this data public we can foster a more open environment on campus.

We aspired to create a platform that allows students and researchers to understand the way individuals at Northwestern interact.
