The joy of playing videogames.

What it does

The project is a game that challenges the player to navigate the stick man to the exit. In order to win, the player must use his/her ability to phase through solid objects. The power to do so allows the player to jump through walls, slip through grounds and fall down, and jump to a platform above him/her. This allows the player to jump through walls however there are a few drawbacks. Since light passes through the player's eyes, the player becomes blind and loses track of his/her location. Also when the player becomes permeable in a solid object, he/she player dies. Our superhero shall face puzzles that force the him/her to use his/her power at the correct time.

How we built it

Using unity to create the main menu and to create levels with objects and include the different features. Unity helps with creating games.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Mostly the whole game, but more specifically the "phasing" aspect of the game.

What we learned

It is difficult to create a game using Java. There are many smaller parts, especially to design the map, that are difficult to implement as a GUI.

What's next for Phaser

Adding more levels and characters with other creative abilities and even a multiplayer mode.
