Planack, every hack's on track! A platform built to make hosting hackathons easier, more organized, and stress-free. Everything you need to plan, collaborate, and run your event—all in one place.

After attending multiple hackathons, we noticed how difficult the planning process could be. Scattered spreadsheets, disparate chat threads, and lost resources inspired us to build a single hub that brings everything together.

Planack provides hackathon hosts with an all-in-one dashboard where you can manage tasks, schedule workshops, track finances, share resources, oversee teams, and showcase event photos—all from one intuitive interface.

We used React for dynamic UI, Tailwind CSS for rapid styling, and TypeScript for type safety.

When coding, the biggest challenges we ran into was figuring out how to have data save for the individual using the platform. However, we managed to do so using JSON files!.

Going forward, we hope to add a proper database backend for the application so that users can better connect, and we can properly implement a chat/call system between users.
