Inspiration
The inspiration behind PokeMen draws from the engaging and widely popular concepts found in Pokémon, particularly in terms of collection and progression systems, and applies these to the field of education and skill-sharing.
What it does
PokeMen is a platform designed to make learning and knowledge-sharing interactive, fun, and engaging through a gamified approach.
How we built it
The prototype was built using React and Figma.
Challenges we ran into
Sorting through many ideas to select the most important ones and deciding what features to demo during the pitch presentation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Over a weekend we: Found 10 users + Created a PokeMen tiktok account for more visibility and to get user interaction Made video calls with them Made prototype Created the MVP website Connected payments
What we learned
Keep things small and simple but as effective as possible.
What's next for PokeMen App
Building, launching, and marketing the MVP. Going from 10-100 users and getting more people on our waitlist google form
