Inspiration

Today, more than 80% of the population is busy on social media and stuff which makes them lazy and also leads to procrastination, we thought there is a need to make something that gamifies the experience of the user and helps the user to be productive and complete the tasks easier and earlier without any issues.

What it does⚒️

Proactive, our chrome extension which keeps the track of what the user is doing and gives the badges according to how much time on a particular thing you spend, giving motivation to the user to work more to earn badges and ultimately be productive!

How we built it🏗️

We built our accessible chrome extension using HTML, CSS, and plain JavaScript, and the power of treasure hidden in treasure hacks

Challenges we ran into🚫

Our first challenge was that one of our teammates didn't know anything about making chrome extension, we all helped each other and our teammate was able to contribute to the project, this time we learned a lot, there were other challenges as well, like first, we needed to brainstorm our brain for a good idea and how can we forget our most beloved errors, but finally we completed it!

Accomplishments that we're proud of🏆

We're all proud of learning something new (making chrome extension) in such a small amount of time(approx. 36 hours). It was a wonderful experience building with each other and we also learned better team management.

What we learned🏫

We learned about the different types of chrome libraries that help us to make an extension, also we improved our skills in Tetris,c++, GitHub , HTML, CSS, and js in the workshops by Treasure Hacks, we also got additional information by the software developer at Microsoft, along with that we learned team management and we became good friends

What's next for Proactive📈

Proactive future is bright, we are planning to add more features in its next version such as i)More badges, more tasks, and using ai and ml to track the activities of users to give badges efficiently ii)Storing user preferences in a database that can be used across several devices iii)Allowing much more customization iv)Adding more features such as leaderboard, chats and multiplayer to Proactive v)Do something from which the user gets daily challenges and can be Productive!
