Inspiration

I am really into cities and city planning, so when I heard the hackathon was in Detroit, I knew I had to do something about the city. I am also in an architecture class this semester, so during class one day, this idea was born. I immediately thought about the Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown episode about Detroit which inspired me even more

What it does

This app allows users to submit pictures and ideas related to architectural planning. There are also tabs for the community partners, ability to fund the project, and getting help in the community. It is a one stop shop to planning and constructing buildings

How I built it

Using swift, and 1 objective-c implementation

Challenges I ran into

A lot, mainly just a lack of understanding of the workings of swift.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Just completing the project. I knew nothing about swift coming in and still was able to complete the project.

What I learned

I can overcome incredible challenges, and swift.
