We were frustrated with cluttered productivity apps that try to do everything but often feel overwhelming. We wanted a calm, minimal space to organize life and build habits without distraction.

Rechecker helps users create simple, beautiful checklists for daily tasks, routines, studies, work, or self-care. It reduces overwhelm by focusing on clarity and consistency, making it easier to stick with habits and stay productive.

We designed Rechecker with a clean UI/UX approach and built it using SwiftUI and Core Data. Our focus was simplicity in design, smooth interactions, and reliable data storage for recurring tasks.

Finding the right balance between minimalism and functionality. Designing an interface that feels calming but still powerful. Managing recurring tasks and reminders in a way that doesn’t overwhelm the user. Accomplishments that we're proud of Creating a product that feels simple, fast, and delightful to use. Building a strong foundation for habit tracking through checklists. Designing a UI that stands out with its calm and minimal aesthetic. What we learned

Less is more: users often prefer clarity over extra features.

Building for consistency requires careful UX decisions.

Hackathon speed forces prioritization — and that can lead to better focus.

What's next for Rechecker

We plan to:

Add collaboration features (shared checklists).

Introduce cross-platform support (iOS, web, desktop).

Expand habit tracking with insights and progress stats.

Integrate AI-powered checklists, where users can simply type a request like “Help me prepare for an exam” or “Plan a weekend trip” and instantly get a smart, ready-to-use checklist.

Grow organically through TikTok/Instagram content and UGC campaigns.
