Executive Summary

Our solution collects farm worker’s health information to identify potential health risks and sickness in specific workers and determine the overall health and productivity of workers. Farm owners will be able to keep their workers healthier and improve working conditions by accommodating work around worker’s health status. Crew leaders have access to the farmers’ heart rates and body temperature via a web application. The web application displays these two sets of data to the crew leader in real time. The crew leader also has the ability to push notifications to the farmer.

Farmers use the Android application to be notified of irregularities in their heart rate. The notifications are completely automated and sent only when the farmer’s heart rate is not within a reasonable range.

What It Does

It monitors health and temperature. It will change color for the user if their heart rate passes 160. It shows a graph that can be viewed in real-time once hooked up with the Fitbit. We have a mock demo already prepared on GitHub.

Make sure to 'npm install' before 'npm start' to view it.
