Inspiration
Sometimes, your alarm just can't get you up. Why is this? We think it's because the sounds are the same each time, conditioning you to go back to sleep. That's why we build Risin' (Rye-sen): to get you ready for your day.
What it does
Risin' uses data like how long you took to snooze your alarm and if you changed timezones to create a meanness value, choosing an appropriately mean alarm tone to help you awaken.
How we built it
Risin' uses Flutter and Dart, with Nginx as our storage backend.
Challenges we ran into
We had some problems with Flutter libraries, as the framework is not optimized for local work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Risin' includes the first flutter animations we've made.
What we learned
We need to work hard, consistently.
