Inspiration
We believe that newcomers is more than just arriving to a new place. We defined Newcomers as anyone who wish to be exposed in something that they are not familiar in. Those first steps on the path to learning can be the scariest. To help guide the way we crafted a learning platform SkillNode!
What it does
SkillNode is a learning platform that encourages users to crowdshare knowledge of any sort. The platform will build on collaboration, connecting learners with fellow learners, experts, and enthusiasts passionate about sharing their expertise. By leveraging the power of collective intelligence, SkillNode transforms learning into a dynamic, community-driven experience. Whether you're delving into programming, design, cooking, or any other skill, our platform empowers you to learn from the best the wide internet has to offer while fostering a sense of community. Join SkillNode and be part of a knowledge-sharing revolution, where learning knows no bounds. Together with this project, we are giving our vision of the future of collaborative education.

Each individual post and user data are stored in MongoDB For UI, we are using Tempo Lab's AI to help create
Challenges we ran into
We had some challenges in combining Next, React, and Mongo to create a seamless experience; but with determination we were able to over come those challenges and create something we're proud to present.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It was my first time using Next and Figma, I got to write some beautiful backend code and do some interesting schema work. -Kris
