Why you Chose This Project:

Everyone on the team has had times where they didn't have the time to sit through videos on a subject they were cramming for, so we decided to make something that solves that issue.

What it Does:

Takes a youtube URL and returns a summarized transcript that covers the core concepts of the video.

How I built it:

Using Python and relevant APIs

Challenges I ran into:

Finding a GUI library for Python and figuring out how to effectively and efficiently use APIs to accomplish the goal.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of:

Getting the project done on time.

What I learned:

Don't go in over your head from the start and know your own limits.

What's next for Scriptr;

To be held in a GitHub library and maybe improved upon by project participants before being made public.
