Inspiration
The difficulties that there are from building on top of an archaic water system.
What it does
Surveys the water system by allowing you to analyse the time take for the beacons to reach different points across the network.
How I built it
Using A mixture of cheap Arduino Hardware and A simple Python API.
Challenges I ran into
Communication between the front-end and back-end system was not possible to achieve in the time frame.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The design suits that of Severn Trent water and everything is as simple as possibly can be.
What I learned
Sometimes it is best to drop a lot of useful features in the pursuit of something that works.
What's next for SevernTrentWater
Scaling up and finishing the interface to make the entire system simply work.
