Inspiration

Securing funding is a daunting challenge for founders, inspiring us to create an accessible, effective, and engaging tool for pitch practice and navigating the competitive fundraising landscape.

What it does

SharkGPT simulates a pitch competition, with founders presenting ideas to AI-generated "sharks" that challenge them, provide constructive feedback, and refine their pitch abilities, increasing their chances of raising funds in a tough economic climate.

How we built it

We developed SharkGPT using advanced AI algorithms, creating realistic, interactive, and insightful simulated sharks. Combining cutting-edge natural language processing with pitch competition expertise, we ensured a seamless, effective training experience.

Challenges we ran into

Our challenges included generating diverse and insightful feedback for founders with varying experience and industries, maintaining an engaging and helpful platform. Also, we want to make the speech to text faster.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our innovative platform that caters to founders' needs and offers valuable, time-efficient practice. We've tested the platform with public users. Users were delighted, engaged, and actively improved their pitches with our AI-generated sharks' actionable advice.

What we learned

We learned the importance of user experience and discovered that allowing users to "wait" before responding was useful for thoughtful decision-making. We gained insight into developing an AI-driven platform providing relevant, valuable, and tailored feedback.

What's next for SharkGPT

Plans include expanding SharkGPT with industry-specific sharks, real-time video feedback, and analyzing users' eye contact, gestures, facial expressions, and tones. We aim to stream it online, add deepfakes, create various agents and scenarios, enhance multi-agent realism, gamify the experience, and provide instant feedback. SharkGPT could become an early screening tool for investors, companies, and organizations.
