Inspiration

Sunpower's SunCode challenge to implement a rate arbitrage model for solar + storage.

What it does

Attempts to save the homeowner the most money by offsetting usage during on-peak rates.

How we built it

We built on top of and extended our existing platform to implement a rate arbitrage model.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing an arbitrage model is not straightforward!!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting a working rate arbitrage model with parsed TOU rates and charts for homeowner visualization.

What's next for Sighten

Hopefully someday putting this into production so that our customers can utilize it.
