Inspiration

As a TA for a class, I have found that remote office hours to be extremely unhelpful to students due to the fact that there are almost no possible ways for students to interact with each other. We decided to build something to help with that.

What it does

It allows individual chatrooms to be created on homework questions, allowing students to communicate to each other in an open format. The TAs can hop in and answer questions any time.

How we built it

We used React, javascript, with firebase as the database.

Challenges we ran into

We didn't know a lot of react and javascript. Most of us were very new to web dev.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We didn't know any webdev to begin with, and we managed to build something working by the end.
