Inspiration

Our college Cultural Fest. Many students take part in jam and need to meet regularly. We thought why not make music and share without meeting.

How it works

Composers can create music in the sound machine and chat with others at the same time.

Challenges I ran into

Music is a vast Industry. To select such a large no. of instruments was huge, So we first have to limit ourselves to a few and also we wanted composers to share the files while chatting. Due to time limit constraints we couldn't possibly do that.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Something is always better than nothing right. So we got sound machine working and chatbox too. Pretty good for us.

What I learned

This is my second hackathon and this time we were more organized. Thanks to version-control.

What's next for SoundChat

File Sharing, Saving , Loading, Pattern Recognition. More Instruments, More features and much more awesomeness.
