Description of Spotlight Share Spotlight Share is an Advanced Reality(AR) based application that focuses on sharing the experience or idea about one impressive scene. Also it offers those who have passion on traveling a platform to get encounter with others which has the same hobby. Besides, we hope this application will raise users’ awareness of the social responsibility as well as the surroundings. For this application, we divide it into three parts. The first is about the device part that is how the swift works to develop the framework of this application. In principle, we develop a browser has a set of functions that can have interaction with the web as well as the HTML elements. Furthermore, it gives the whole application an elegant animation to perform that contributes to our application a lot. What’s more, we import the GaoDe Map’s API (Application Programming Interface) to get a higher accuracy of the GPS (Global Positioning System) location. Secondly, we develop the back-end part by using Node.js to drive the server and using the MongoDB as the database to store the user’ information and the geographic information. Furthermore, the server plays the role of dealing with the business logic and broadcast one’s message to others as well. Moreover, we have deployed a server on the Internet that can make this application accessible at any time and any space as long as you can connect to the Internet. The third part is about the design, we apply the material design to our project. By using this design language, we get a clear and user-friendly UI (User Interface). Due to the time limit, we still have some features remain to be implemented. Like a recommendation system which can based on the friends one user has at our platform. Like a collection system that cooperates with some scenic spots, in this way, we can give these spots a booming.
