Stress Busters was born from the simple desire to make relaxation fun, vibrant, and social.
Let’s be honest - destressing is cooler with teams, smoother with rewards, more delightful with dance, and downright legendary with BUSTIES- the in-game trophies.

We asked ourselves:

“What if calm felt like a party?”

Thus came the spark: groovy dance moves, colorful match-3 progression, progressive rounds of Levels, and glitter bursts. And with TEAMS. Thus, comes Stress Busters with fresh UPDATES.

Now, claim and enjoy daily rewards, earn fun dance moves, play with teams, create images and videos of awesome gameplay, claim dance animations, enjoy the insatiable charm of easy to difficult levels.


🎮 What It Does

Stress Busters is a mobile-first Horizon World experience designed to:

  • Help players unwind through low-pressure match-3 rounds
  • Teams can play in PvP mode, introducing Team Chaos and Team Mess
  • Deliver animated dance rewards for engagement
  • Encourage team play through PvP competitions
  • Honour player visits with Daily rewards
  • Earn BUSTIES and see game stats
  • Provide team bonding opportunity and Pic-worthy, videography shareable moments of gameplay

Whether you're vibing solo or in chaotic harmony with Team Mess or Team Chaos—every interaction lifts you.


🛠️ How We Built It

  • Rebuilt core logic using Meta Horizon’s updated scripting tools
  • Designed match-3 progression system from Level 1–5 with increasing cubes
  • Implemented daily reward cycles tied to animated dance moves' unlocking feature
  • Integrated Meta Camera API for capturing win moments
  • Team mode of gameplay through Red Rings - Team Chaos & Team Mess (2*2, 1*2 number of player combo options)
  • Spectate View from the balcony while the gameplay occurs at the main stage
  • Created Busties Trophy Logic for team-based challenges
  • Refined UX for mobile optimization and smooth onboarding
  • Layered environments with aurora-inspired lighting and glitter shader overlays

🚧 Challenges We Ran Into

  • Balancing progression for both solo and Team players
  • Achieving smooth cross-device animation flow for dance rewards
  • Curation of Animations in line with Meta Horizon's XYZ axis set up
  • Keeping count of Busties and other game stats i.e., wins and losses
  • Making “stress-free” gameplay feel just as engaging as competitive formats
  • Debugging unexpected glitter overflow (true story: too many sparkles!) 😅

  • Encouragement of bringing more players as team bonding feels natural with level progression
  • Designed a reward system that feels celebratory, not transactional

🧠 What We Learned

  • Mobile-first design can support deep progression when paired with micro-rewards
  • Team collaboration and playful competition boost acquisition, retention and emotional joy
  • Animation-based rewards (especially dance moves!) increase engagement
  • Custom trophies like Busties inspire repeat play and social sharing
  • A sprinkle of glitter goes a long way—emotionally and technically ✨
