Inspiration
There are many students, who think twice before studying abroad because of the confusing expenses. Our web-app helps them to convert the currency to their native currency to get better idea about the expenses.
What it does
The web app takes inputs related to student expenses such as Fees, Accommodation, and Transportation and converts it from foreign currency to native currency.
How we built it
We built it using Reactjs, Firebase and FixerAPI. Reactjs for UI. Firebase for hoisting. FixerAPI for converting currency.
Challenges we ran into
Integrated API for the first time, hence it was difficult to fetch the results.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully Integrated FixerAPI. Successfully hoisted using Firebase. Last, got the desired results.
What we learned
We learned how to Integrate APIs. We learned how to collaborate and work as a team. Beginner team mate got to know about tailwind CSS and project management.
What's next for Student-Finance
Next step for Student-Finance, is to add more countries for converting the currency. Adding more functionalities to help the students to achieve their dreams.
