Our team would often struggle to remember some of the concepts in classes we took previously, so we wanted a way to review the concepts through taking a few practice problems. And that is how this idea of ours came to fruition.
What it does
The program gives the user 4 options (Mathematics, Physics, Coding, or Puzzles), and depending on the subject they choose, there will be few more options with specific topic area for the respective subject that will take the user to a link which has practice problems for the user to do in order to get a refresher.
How we built it
We built it using Java to get user input and perform actions corresponding to that input.
Challenges we ran into
Other than the coding challenge, it was hard for us to find good website that had meaningful and useful problems that would indeed help "jog" the memory.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of making a program that not only helps us, but might help others become the best college student they can be.
What we learned
We learned about some of Java's library and how it can be used to open up URLs, Images, Files, etc. And how useful this can be when programming certain concepts.
What's next for Study Refresh
We plan to take this prototype and make it into a function app with other useful features like adding a custom question to any subject area that the user pleases.
