What's next for SwasthyaShe

When I first envisioned SwasthyaShe, I was deeply moved by the realization that many women struggle quietly with reproductive health challenges—irregular cycles, PCOS symptoms, or uncertainties about pregnancy—without access to tools that help them understand their own bodies. I saw how lack of awareness and accessible resources could leave women anxious, confused, or even dismissive of their own health signals. I wanted to create something more than a data dashboard; I wanted to build a platform that could educate, empower, and inspire confidence in every woman to take charge of her health.

SwasthyaShe is an interactive Tableau dashboard that transforms complex reproductive health data into clear, meaningful insights. It analyzes menstrual patterns, PCOS risk, and pregnancy likelihood, helping women recognize patterns, understand risks, and make informed decisions. Through interactive visualizations like trend charts, heatmaps, and filters for different age groups and conditions, the dashboard turns raw health data into an intuitive, actionable, and engaging experience.

Building this project was a journey in itself. I collected anonymized health datasets, organized and cleaned the data, developed scoring systems to quantify PCOS and pregnancy risks, and designed the dashboard to communicate insights clearly and effectively. Along the way, I faced challenges such as handling sensitive and incomplete data, translating complex medical information into understandable insights, and balancing depth with usability to ensure the dashboard was both informative and user-friendly. Each challenge taught me valuable lessons about empathy, attention to detail, and the power of design in shaping understanding.

What makes SwasthyaShe truly meaningful is the impact it can have on women’s lives. It empowers them to take control of their reproductive health, promotes awareness, and transforms abstract data into knowledge that inspires self-care, confidence, and informed decision-making. Through this project, I learned that technology, when combined with empathy and thoughtful design, can create real social impact—turning numbers into understanding, and understanding into empowerment.

Looking ahead, I envision expanding SwasthyaShe with personalized health recommendations, integrating additional factors such as nutrition and stress, making it mobile-accessible, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance credibility and reach. The ultimate goal is to create a resource that not only informs but also inspires, reminding every woman that understanding, embracing, and taking charge of her body is a powerful step toward self-empowerment and well-being.
