How the Platform Works
Inspiration
We are all passionate about providing underserved communities and people with the resources that they need to climb the social ladder, and feel included in today's digital landscape.
What it does
Our mission is to close the knowledge and skills gap in the tech industry and achieve digital inclusion among public school students. By exposing students to more technology focused experiences and knowledge before college, we help increase students' technical skills and provide them with more career possibilities.
How we built it
We built it using the web development platform SquareSpace and our brains.
Challenges we ran into
Condensing our idea into a project that we can have full control over, while at the same time providing as much freedom to our users/customers to accomplish each other's goals.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
After hours upon hours of deliberation, we all finally agreed on an idea that we felt tackled an important issue for the social good.
What we learned
We learned to build on each others ideas and be comfortable rebuilding if we felt our ideas began to stray from our original goal.
What's next for T-Hack
Creating a custom-built platform for T-Hack that will operate on its own.
