Inspiration

We want to revolutionize taxes to be simple, tax assistance to be instant and accessible, and forms completed in thirty minutes or less.

What it does

TabbyTax compiles simple tax forms for submission to the IRS via Facebook Messenger. Optimized for first-time taxpayers, students, and those making under $30,000, TabbyTax uses powerful IBM image processing and Artificial Intelligence Natural Language Processing to understand and converse with users. Users can begin a conversation with TabbyTax by simply messaging the page, and TabbyTax will prompt the user for all necessary information to populate a simple case of the 1040 form, with additional support for life events, and tax forms common among college students and the low-income community.
