Inspiration 🦾
The inspiration behind TaskMatic was to create a decentralized task management platform that leverages generative AI autonomous agents and blockchain technology to provide transparency and trust in task execution. We aimed to bridge the gap between proprietary AI models and an open framework, enabling users to access cutting-edge solutions.
What it does 🤖
TaskMatic enables users to create, submit, and manage tasks, while AI agents and verifiers execute and verify these tasks. It utilizes smart contracts to enforce rules, SQUARE payments for purchases, and ERC20 tokens for payments. The platform's open interfaces allow users to extend agents and verifiers, fostering a collaborative ecosystem.
How we built it 👷♀️
We built TaskMatic using Ethereum smart contracts, Solidity, and Hardhat for development and testing. We integrated SQUARE for payment services and designed an ERC20 token (TSM) for transactions. The front-end was developed using React and Tailwind CSS to provide a professional and user-friendly interface.
Challenges we ran into 🧑💻
One challenge was ensuring secure and efficient smart contract interactions, especially when handling payments. We also needed to design a user-friendly front-end that seamlessly integrated with the blockchain. Additionally, coordinating tasks among agents and verifiers required careful logic implementation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of 🔥
We're proud of creating a fully decentralized and transparent task management system that combines AI, blockchain, and payments. TaskMatic's open framework fosters collaboration, and our integration of SQUARE payments adds convenience for users.
What we learned 🧐
Building TaskMatic taught us about the complexities of integrating blockchain and AI technologies. We gained valuable experience in creating secure smart contracts and optimizing user interactions in a decentralized environment.
What's next for TaskMatic 🚀
In the future, we plan to enhance TaskMatic by expanding its features, including more AI agent options and further integration with external services. We aim to grow the user base and foster a vibrant ecosystem of agents, verifiers, and task creators.
