Inspiration

Too many apps nag; we wanted a single-tap pep-talk that listens to your rant and answers in a human voice. The one-prompt challenge pushed us to prove it could all fit into one concise spec.

What it does

Record (or type) for ~15 s → Taskmu replies with a tailored motivational speech, ElevenLabs voice, light music, transcript, and a quick action tip—then logs the interaction in today’s streak ring.

How we built it

One Bolt prompt outlines flow, tone, and success metrics; Gemini writes the script, ElevenLabs speaks it, the web client streams and displays everything—done.

Challenges

Voice ID lookup, speech-music sync, and keeping latency < 7 s; solved with sensible fallbacks, Web Audio clocking, and parallel calls.

Accomplishments

less than a minute turnaround, 90 % tester uplift, fully accessible—all delivered from that single prompt.

Lessons

Prompt wording beats code tweaks, audio empathy beats text, and latency is part of the UX.

What’s next

Pomodoro add-on, mood tracking, and multi-language voices—still keeping the core “vent → pep-talk” loop lightning-fast.
