Inspiration

I wanted to solve the problem that prevented busy students from keeping up with their education and extra-curricular.

What it does

Presents student schedules to teachers and allows them to make time for tutoring or other learning arrangements.

How I built it

I used the Swift programming language with Xcode IDE and implemented cloud-based functions with Google Firebase.

Challenges I ran into

Asynchronous task-management and file sync, implementing cloud services, writing legal documentation, etc.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Bringing my vision into reality :)

What I learned

Swift, C, Firebase, advanced coding concepts (ex: asynchronous tasking) and a whole lot of patience.

What's next for TeacherTap

Implementation into classrooms in Edison High School was successful, pending school district wide-implementation.
