Inspiration
We were inspired by the fact that kids learn differently and coding is always more fun with with visual cues. Distance learning has become a reality due to current circumstances and wanted to improve and create a dynamic approach to education and learning.
What it does
It combines tactical learning with learning to code by making problems you have to use coding solutions to solve.
How we built it
We built it with Unity, designed screen concepts with Figma.
Challenges we ran into
Being too ambitious. It was a tough build for two days of work. We are working with different schedules and finding time to meet and discuss aspects of the project with each other. Sending each other assets and communication with in the timeline.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting this far! Our final early product that we've created with the bootstraps and wit.
What we learned
All of us had never learned Unity before so we learned that we were capable of learning. Balancing creativity with interactivity in a virtual environment.
What's next for TechTopia
We want to finish the project, and take it to it's final form for public release. We would like to eventually take this and apply this to other subjects and computing languages.
