What it does
TestMe allows users to view their COVID testing data all in one place and share their test history as a pdf.
Significance
With the onset of COVID-19, Georgia tech has done a great job building the infrastructure for asymptomatic testing, and according to our user research, students find GT’s testing program easy to use! However, we felt that the current system could use some additional features that would greatly improve the user experience! Our hack,TestMe, has two main upgrades to the current system: to make test results be all in one place and to make your testing history easily shareable. With these upgrades, we hope to make getting tested easier and more accessible to GT students, as well as keep students accountable to getting tested regularly.
Intention
Test Results: On the current GT testing site, GT will only let you know the status of your sample, but not whether you have coronavirus or not. TestMe shows you all in one place whether or not you have coronavirus, the status of your sample, and if you completed the test for the week. With this feature, users can see their full testing history without digging through their email inboxes, and make sure that they’re getting tested weekly. Export tests: We also included a feature to export your test results to one easily sharable file. Although it would be safest if everyone socially distanced, many students are still spending time with their friends and family in person. If a student has been getting tested weekly and consistently tests negative, they can share that proof with their friends and family to put them at ease. This feature could even be used to generate a “ticket in” to campus events to boost accountability and safety, and reduce new COVID cases on campus.

What's next for TestMe
In the future, we hope to include a more streamlined version of the Georgia tech overall campus testing data, weekly reminders to get tested, and an integrated rewards program in the web app to encourage frequent testing!
