Inspiration
I enjoy writing software, finding extremely janking and uncoventional ways to make
What it does
It creates windows in the shape of tetrominoes, which slowly fall down from the top of the screen.
How we built it
Wrote it in a couple of Python class files within 6 hours lol.
Challenges we ran into
The main issue I ran into was with emulating collision detection, where the windows would not "collide" and phase through each other. This project was contructed after issues with a previous group and was created in around 6 hours.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting a rudamentry form of Tetris (incomplete), but you can emulate the feel of stacking blocks by purposely avoiding other already placed Tetris.
What we learned
Don't write games using Tk
What's next for Tkteris
The concept will probably be reused and written better (hopefully) in the future.
Built With
- python
- tkinter
