Inspiration

Accessibility for people with phones, phone usage, and data privacy is a big problem, so we intend to leverage AI and simplistic UI design to make phone usage more safe for everybody. We want to enable users to be able to decide what how their data is seen.

What it does

It provides a safe environment to learn about keeping their data secure and accessing information about the energy usage of their apps.

How we built it

Built with Flutter/Dart and the OpenAI API.

Challenges we ran into

  • Integrating the AI into our app
  • how to get our app to access the data of other apps in the phone
  • UI/UX of the app

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Integrating the OpenAI API with our project, and grabbing energy data of the phone.

What we learned

We learned how to include AI models such as OpenAI API into our mobile applications.

What's next for Trackle

Adding the functionality to actually be able to manage your permissions for each of the various permissions (camera, microphone, location, etc), from the Trackle App itself.

Trackle is a comprehensive privacy and accessibility app designed to go beyond what standard settings apps offer by empowering users with deep insights and control over their device's permissions. Unlike typical apps, Trackle provides real-time tracking and logging of system changes, ensuring that users can quickly revert any unwanted modifications. With its AI-powered assistant, Trackle offers personalized recommendations on optimizing both privacy and energy consumption, making it a powerful tool for maintaining device efficiency. The app's intuitive design makes it accessible to all users, while its advanced features like permission toggles and background widgets provide continuous monitoring of sensitive data access, such as microphone usage. Trackle isn't just about managing device settings—it's about putting privacy and power management in the hands of the user with advanced, intelligent tools.
