Transfourmers

Inspiration

Our inspiration was the prompt from the CAD Designathon, the prompt we chose is transfurniture.

What it does

The trans-fourmer is a piece of multi function furniture, it has four functions. The functions are storage, seating, table top space, and a bed, these can all be folded down into a small box that is easy to store.

How we built it

We built our prototypes with Autodesk Inventor, we also drew concept sketches on paper.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges with the Autodesk Inventor software not working.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are extremely proud of the rendering, this was the first time we tried rendering on Autodesk Inventor.

What we learned

We learned how to render through a workshop provided by the designation volunteers.

What's next for Transfourmers

Our next step is presenting our design in front of the judges!
