Twitter-art uses natural language processing to analyze whether a user's tweet is positive (i.e. happy, joyful), neutral (doesn't really lean toward either happiness or sadness), or negative (i.e. sad, depressed, angry). It then draws a picture of appropriate colors corresponding to each emotional state. If the tweets show positive trend and there are a lot more positive tweets than negative tweets, the picture will be "warmer" (yellow hues). If it's neutral then it's a combination between warm and cold hues. If it's a negative trend then the picture will be a purple-ish colder "hues".
