Inspiration

KNowing that we have no other planet other than our earth and seeing how the activity of man like defrorestationis grossly affecting our planet. UNDO was concieved.

What it does

UNDO is a community DAO were contributions are made from lovers of the planet to help tackle the reason for deforestation. Users can upload projects and contributions are made towards the actualization of these projects thereby saving our Planet. Projects areas of interest includes

1. Clean Portable Water
2. Renewal Solar Energy
3. Reforestation / Afforestration
4. Alternative to Timber or Logging for roofing
5. Sustainable agriculture:
6. Corporate responsibility:
7. Education and awareness:

How we built it

For the Front-end, we use Vite (React) Framework with tailwindcss. The storage of metadata was done on IPFS using NFT.Storage. The smart contract for the community project was done with Solidity and deployed to Filecoin Hyperspace Testnet. Data was stored on Co2.storage and accessed from the front end.

Challenges we ran into

I learned about the hackathon late and it was not convenient to consume the various documentation from Filecoin green, I had more to read and digest from climate collective, Hyphen, and H-BAR

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating something that the community can use to sustain the planet is a plus

What we learned

i have done much research and i have learned that humanity need to do something very fast about sustaining the planet. Whatever it takes to stop deforestation should be encouraged

What's next for UNDO

Push the project further to gain traction and take it to the next level.
