Inspiration

A few of my close friends have been struggling with mental health issues, and I have also seen others around me go as far as harming themselves. That deeply affected me and I knew I wanted to do something meaningful in this space.

When I came across AgentForce, it sparked an idea. I saw the potential to use intelligent systems not just for productivity but for emotional support as well. That’s what led to the creation of Unloadify — a tool designed to lighten mental load, restore focus, and help people feel less alone in their day-to-day chaos.

I truly believe that the first step toward preventing serious mental health issues begins with tackling the smallest of stressors like anxiety. If we can help people unload those early feelings and manage their minds better, maybe we can prevent the bigger problems before they ever start.

What it does

Unloadify is an intelligent task and mental load management system that helps users prioritise, schedule, and emotionally manage their day, all from within platforms they already use, like Slack and Salesforce. At its core, Unloadify uses the Eisenhower Matrix, enhanced with Time as a third dimension, to prioritise tasks based on Urgency, Importance, and Availability. It intelligently fits tasks into your working hours, avoids overlap, ensures breaks, and can dynamically reschedules when priorities change.

The real magic happens with MechaMind — a conversational AI assistant built on AgentForce that: Adds tasks using natural language prompts. Suggests simplified daily plans based on real-time Fitbit sleep data for demo purposes or can be easily extended to integrate with any other smart devices. Recommends when to take it easy if you haven not rested well. Automatically sets up Zoom meetings with calendar events and Slack reminders.

How we built it

We started by defining the core problem which is how to intelligently manage day-to-day tasks while reducing mental clutter and anxiety. With this in mind, we designed a solution powered by Salesforce, Slack, Make.com, and Zoom, all stitched together by a conversational agent named MechaMind.

Key Components are: Salesforce (AgentForce & Data Cloud) Slack Integration Slack Reminders Experience Cloud Make.com Automation Zoom Integration Intelligent Scheduling Logic

Challenges we ran into

Designing MechaMind to make smart decisions like when to schedule tasks or escalate health red flags, required complex logic. But we also had to ensure the user experience remained simple, intuitive, and non-intrusive.

Creating smart, rule-driven scheduling logic using Apex was challenging. We had to factor in: Business hours Break policies Avoiding task overlaps Real-time reshuffling of tasks based on urgency, importance, and time

Connecting Slack, Zoom, Salesforce, Make.com, and Fitbit data was a big integration challenge. Each platform had its own authentication, data structure, and limitations that had to be carefully managed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are able to come up with a working prototype that allows users to add tasks, prioritise them using an enhanced Eisenhower Matrix, and schedule them intelligently all through MechaMind integrated on Salesforce Experience Cloud and Slack.

We implemented a custom Apex-based engine that respects business hours, avoids overlaps, enforces breaks, and dynamically reschedules tasks based on urgency, importance, and time.

We used Fitbit sleep data to personalise daily task loads. If the sleep score is below a healthy threshold, MechaMind advises the user to take it easy and suggests a lighter plan, bridging wellness and productivity.

We successfully integrated Slack, Zoom, Salesforce, Make.com, and Fitbit, enabling a seamless flow between task creation, meeting management, health monitoring, and team communication.

What we learned

We learned that something as “small” as daily anxiety from task overload can snowball into serious mental health issues. Addressing it early, even through something like a smart task manager can have meaningful impact.

Bringing Slack, Zoom, Salesforce, and Fitbit together taught us the real-world challenges of integrations, especially around data syncing, API limits, and automation consistency. But it also showed us how powerful a connected ecosystem can be.

From scheduling logic to task reshuffling and agent interactions, we learned how to build within real business logic like business hours, overlapping events, and urgency-based prioritisation.

What's next for Unloadify

Additionally, if given more time it can integrates with email, parsing out tasks from inbox content, summarises Zoom meeting transcripts and converts key points into follow-up actions. Detects sentiment and emotional stress from conversations (with user consent). Can escalate to human agents or professionals if a user is in distress. All interactions can be encrypted and consent-driven, ensuring privacy and control. It’s not just about managing to-do lists, it’s about unburdening the mind and making room for clarity, creativity, and well-being.

I realised I missed mentioning an important point in my video. The demo I’m showcasing here is intended to highlight how mentally piling up tasks can lead to increased anxiety—and that’s exactly where Unloadify and MechaMind come in. This project could help offload and organise these overwhelming thoughts, turning mental clutter into calm, focused actions.
