  Future look of our chatbot

Inspiration

We read many newspaper articles about fake news about the COVID-19 vaccine and how many people believed this rumours.

What it does

It is a chatbot which answers your queries about the vaccine, and can confirm whether the news is fake or not.

How we built it

We built it with python, but also made a prototype (with better UI) using MarvelApp, a prototyping software.

Challenges we ran into

We could not improve the UI of the app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It is our first time using python for a hackathon.

What we learned

We learnt more about python, and more about vaccines when researching.

What's next for VacChat

We can improve it by implementing a feature where users can talk to doctors for advice or book appointments. We hope to improve the UI of the chatbot.
