Inspiration

What it does

Verto is a network to connect startup companies with each other so they can share resources, ideas, or services to help each other grow and succeed. Around 90% of all startup companies fail due to not having connections with other companies to get resources and ideas or grow too fast. Verto hopes to make more startup companies succeed by giving them the place to find the resources they need and make connections with other startups.

How we built it

Verto is built with HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, and a Token on the Ethereum Blockchain.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges we ran into were getting our PHP to run. We had a lot of issues with our login and register system, and the system that connects the startups.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Accomplishments we are proud of are deploying a token to the ethereum blockchain and having a working finished product.

What we learned

We learned how to use PHP, learned more about how blockchains work, and more about JavaScript and CSS.

What's next for Verto

Next for Verto would be creating a companion app/website wallet for the Verto tokens. Verto would also hope to improve our login/register system and set-up individual account pages and private messages between users, and just improve the site as a whole.
