Inspiration
Well, I got the inspiration from always seeing my teachers, attempting to teach on their devices. It truly is a problem. I have seen many issues, constantly occurring due to this, and Virtuboard tackles these problems, such as easier access, and easy drawing.
What it does
Virtuboard is an application used to draw on the screen using hand tracking models, and finger position detection. It makes it easier for teachers to teach, and can also be used for various purposes such as listing down stuff, etc.
How we built it
I have used OpenCV, Python, and a hand tracking module for this.
Challenges we ran into
A challenge that took quite a long time to tackle was clap detection. Although I found a fix to this, I did not implement it as the fix had a few bugs in itself (such as lower detection of claps).

What's next for Virtuboard
What's next? A lot. I plan on making Virtuboard far more accurate by using a custom model from scratch (rather than a premade one), and I also would like to fix the bugs which are already seen.
