I saw a similar project on Stupid Hackathon, and decided to try and implement my own
What it does
Downloads data.
How I built it
Java, Apache Commons, and GCP Java Firestore SDK, to download data and store the amount downlaoded in Firestore. Python, Flask, GCP Python Firestore SDK, for web server. HTML and JS to display the frontend.
Challenges I ran into
Maven dependencies and plugins. Hard to find correct classpaths
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Starting Maven project from scratch, using it as a package manager, using Java.
