Inspiration

We really wanted to play with APIs we weren't familiar with, and explore new mobile technologies.

What it does

Wikidex gathers content-specific information from the objects it recognizes within a camera's frame - You point at the object, and it'll tell you want it is!

How We built it

By being casual.

Challenges I ran into

Getting in line for food. Overcoming disparate code-formatting conventions (mostly bracket placement) of each team member.

Accomplishments that were proud of

The entire app.

What We learned

How to hack casually, and still get a cool product out! We really wanted to keep Hackathons fun and collaborative, contrary to the cut-throat competition you sometimes see. After all, it's all about making stuff right?
