Inspiration
We were inspired to create this app because it is similar to our externship project and would be a great learning experience
What it does
Our app allows a user to login and view the current work orders available. The app can allow the user to create a new work order to by pressing the add button on the Dashboard page.
How we built it
This app was built with React Native, Firebase, JavaScript, Node.JS, and CSS. In our GitHub repo, we created a README.md file for basic documentation and used GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges that we ran into were related to learning React Native. No one on our team had an previous experience with it. Learning the new concepts somewhat of a challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The accomplishments that we were proud of were getting the basic functionality of the app to work.
What we learned
We learned how to work together as a team and many new concepts for React Native and JavaScript.
What's next for Work Order App
The next step for our Work Order App is to continue working on it this fall.
