How we built it

We used the NLTK library to parse tweets using #askYP. Then, using only specific words from the tweet, we sent a request to yellowAPI. We then responded to the user's tweet with select locations from the yellow pages API.

We learned how to parse a sentence correctly with NLTK.

What we learned

We learnt how to interface with the yellow pages API and make a twitter bot using python. We also learnt how to use the natural language toolkit (NLTK) to parse sentences.

What's next for yellowBot

Set up yellowBot on a server.
