Here I am!

I know I haven't updated in months, but I will try to do better (TRY).

We are still here and alive. Kent is still working at ON and he's teaching an Electrical Engineering class this fall at BYU. I am still sewing (when my children allow). I quit working at the hospital in May, and I don't really miss it!! I spend my days wiping bottoms and noses, driving kids to preschool, dance and soccer, making dinner and trying to keep the house clean. And most days I LOVE my job as a mom (some days I want to pull my hair out-but those days are few)!

Luke had his 5th birthday, complete with a Star Wars/LEGO birthday party. He has moved on from Toy Story and Cars and now he is into Star Wars and LEGOS (he still enjoys Toy Story and Cars, but he is growing up). Luke is playing soccer and is scoring 1-3 goals each game! Most of his goals are for the other team, but we still count them!
Claire is my little sweetheart (probably because she hasn't learned how to be sassy and she still minds me). She prefers me over Kent (that's a first at our house)!!! She is obsessed with Cinderella, singing and dancing (it really is so darling to watch)!
Lily is my dancer. She is always doing headstands and dancing around. When I pick her up from preschool her teacher always notes that she won't stop "dancing" around. Lily has just started to reading and she is doing great!

Where do I even begin....?

So much has happened in the last 7 months. I will just touch on the highlights.....Luke has a fit if I try to throw ANYTHING away (his fruit snack wrapper, food, the packaging his new underwear came in, ...pretty much anything) thank you Toy Story 3, my son is terrified of anything going to "the fire"...thank heavens for recycling. Claire has teeth. Lily is potty trained. Luke is obsessed with making sure the lights are turned off when you leave a room. Claire is walking along furniture.

Below is cousin Jeneveve, Claire, Lily and Luke on Claire's 1st birthday.
Luke loves being in charge and "babysitting" for me. Claire's hair was so cute and fuzzy that it stood straight up, now it is long enough for pigtails. Claire has had a haircut, Lily has not. Yes, Claire's hair is longer and thicker than Lily's. Lily runs the household and she can give you a look that would cause your blood to run cold. Lily is obsessed with rings, purses, and wearing dresses with pockets. If anyone compliments Lily she will just reply, "I know!" but after they leave she will turn to me and say, "She said I was cute!!" . Luke recently said, "Claire is one of us now" Kent and I decided that means she can cause as much trouble as they can. Luke and Lily are the best of friends or hen pecking each other to tears.
