O3DE Pre-alpha landscape test -- Sandbox1 128/128/160Testing the O3DE terrain and landscaping Gems. If you are interested in taking a peek at the very first look (mostly unfinished), login to the website then set the reminder on this event to place yourself on the list. This is an Invitation only to DG local accounts. This early preview of the new world is going to be a walk-through the entry area and the sandbox. The purpose of this visit is to see how it works for people with their different computers. It will give me an idea what needs to be optimized. You will choose from one or two predefined avatars before entering. Voice and text chat should be available. Inventory and rezzing will not be available at this time. It will arrive later. The goal is to make pupils feel at ease with Blender, doing class step by step and most of all to gather basic knowledge. Each lesson is shown by panels with instructions; at the end of the lesson panel line is the Object itself so pupils can compare.

The Discovery Grid roundtable meetings take place monthly at the hangout to present grid status. These open agenda meetings also invite people to bring forth their issues and suggestions.
The airport hosts multiple runways around an Art Deco main terminal. Hangar buildings are available. Flight school is held periodically.
An active volcano that is just fun to watch and sail about the many water regions on Discovery Grid. When it erupts, touch a lava boulder to get a breathtaking ride.
Learn to fly high performance jetcraft. Join flight school and train with experienced pilots. Look for the sheduled events.

The Louisville airshow is part of Thunder Over Discovery which celebrates the anniversary of Discovery Grid. The event takes place the Saturday on or before July 4th.

Discovery Grid Events region: The Sea of Revelation is an abandoned astronomy site on an ocean of the Discovery Grid. Explore the buildings within, and if you explore enough, there are some surprises to be had on this 8x8 region.
Discovery Grid and PyroVR Fireworks said goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022 at the iconic Virtual Space Needle with a custom pyromusical launched directly off the full-scale Needle. We wish everyone a better 2022!

Created by Tenbears Running, the St. George Reef Lighthouse on a Discovery Grid ocean region. This Lighthouse stands six miles off the coast of Northern California. Activated in 1893 after discussions started in 1865 after the loss of the vessel, Brother Jonathan on July 30, 1865.
This Edo Period fishing village has a Buddhist temple, Shinto shrine, tea houses, blacksmith forge, seamen’s bar, a river and dock area, a Dojo and more. Located on the Celestial Japan region.
The world map is a 30,000 foot view of the regions in the grid. Almost all of the resident owned regions are located in the community section, connected to the vast oceans of the grid. Seamless traversal permits travel from one end to the other.
