The school lunch dance club performed at the school pep rally today... Kim's was styl'n her cowgirl stuff! Rockin around the Christmas tree!

Christmas 2012

Some years it may seem like the holidays are the same thing on repeat... This year we went into the holidays with a national tragedy in CT that shook our spirits and moved us to rethink the time we have together and what is really important in this life... Our time our family and our faith.

I'm grateful for my life. It's not perfect. It's a challenge many days, but it's filled with amazing people and opportunities to serve that I treasure. I'm a better person because of you and I know I am loved by many special people that have helped me in ways I can not even begin to list.

Merry Christmas 2012 - we lived, we loved, we gave. Now we move into the next year with hope love and joy!

Daddy daughter moments

These two are more alike than they'll ever admit. Drama queen and king, they'll execute lifetime performances over anything! They'll make you laugh before you cry. They'll butt heads in an instance and be planning an adventure the next... But these are the moments that make up life, and I love them all! JB

First band concert....

Making music one note at a time, Kae had her first concert this year. she's figuring out how to read music and actually make wind and fingers do the right things at the right time. (Not great pictures here, I'll try to add more later) It's great to hear her play and to get asked to help her a little. Keep it up K! Hugs- Mom

Balloons Light up the night

We had a holiday time out to see these hot air balloons up close and lit up together. I took a tethered ride once as a girl about 10, I've never forgotten it!

Kaelee says she doesn't remember this, but when she was about 5 she made a bucket list... And ballon ride was on the list! I promised her she'd get to do it someday...
But this time the line was too scary and we opted for dinner and a warm place to sit! V
