Here are some pictures of Peyson at church. This is all we ever do at church. Actually attending a meeting is a very rare occasion. But she brings joy to all by yelling at them and pointing and calling them dad. Everyone is dad!

Drayton's First Day of School
I knew it would come someday, I just didn't expect it so soon. We woke up. Ate breakfast. Took a bath. Got dressed. Then loaded into the car and we were off to school. I'm only 23. I shouldn't have kids in school. Dray was so nervous. He was really unsure when we got there. And he wouldn't listen to the teacher. So we left hoping that would make things better. When we got back, he was participating and having a blast. I know I shouldn't be, but I was kinda sad that he didn't miss me. Sniff. But I absolutely love his teacher. She is amazing and so organized and good with the kids. If I have to leave him with someone, I'm glad it's her.

Happy Birthday Dusty (or That's What I Like About You)
Today Dustin turns 26! He's practically an old man. I decided that people need to know a little more about him. So here are 5 things (not nessicarily the top five) I love about him, that you may not know.
1. He always has to be touching me when we're in the same room. If we're on different couches, he just holds my foot. Or at night sometimes he draps his leg over me. Some part of him has to be touching some part of me.
2. He dreams about stuff he has to do. Like work and other things he has to get done. I personally think that would suck. I love to dream. Poor Dustin just can't relax.
3. He cries during the Notebook. Right there at the end, when they decide to die togther, there is always a tear. Awe, what a softy.
4. He love to be helping someone. No matter the feat, he will never say no. And he is so generous. Even when he shouldn't be.
5. He loves to sit and plan all the things we'll do together in the future. He makes lists. And he's so detailed. He's drawn up the house he wants us to have in the future. And pretty much already decorated every room. I love to sit and think about forever with him.

Graduation Day, Yay!
Today Dustin graduated from the fire academy. And I got to lin his badge on him. I'm so proud of him. He worked so hard. But he learned so much and had a blast in the process, not to mention some of the friendships he gained. Now off to work. Afterward we went to Red Lobster, and Dray had his first date with his girlfriend, Lexi. Young Love is so sweet And Peyson had a blast at the graduation too. Ya right.

Breaking Dawn: I Don't See the Problem with It

I know there are alot of peoole out there that didn't enjoy Breaking Dawn and were disapointed in Stephenie Meyer. And everyone is totally entitled to their own opinion. But this is my blog, so in my opinion, I completely disagree. I loved it. After reading some poor reviews I reread it and paid more attention to try and see their points of view. And I still completely disagree. I thought it was great. No it wasn't an upllifting, try to be a better person, change your life book. But seriously, who reads books about vampires to be uplifted? I think those people are looking in the wrong place. I really liked the story. I thought Stephenie Meyer did a good job tying up all the loose ends, and I love a story where no one ends up alone. She's no Charles Dickens or Jane Austin, but why in the world are people comparing her to them. I don't think she's trying to out write them. Ok I have one last point to make. Please remember that it is a story about vampires. It's not going to be realistic. So expecting that when you read it, seems a little crazy.

Playin at the Mall
Campout!!!
Every year my family goes camping at the end of the summer. And for the past two years I didn't get to go. Last year it was because I was afraid of having Peyson in the middle of the forest. Although, Dustin thought it would be totally awesome to deliver our baby in the woods. Anyway, this year I didn't get to go because I had a cold, in the middle of freaking August. The boys went. They had fun playing in the water and shooting. It rained so they had to stay in the trailer alot, but they loved being in the cool weather. And Drayton loves playing with Porter, his cousin. He even caught a fish. What a man. Sorry no pictures from girls weekend with me and Pey, enough people have seen me makeupless and unshowered. And yes my son is wearing boots with shorts. I wasn't there, remember.

Happy Brthday Drayton!!!

Drayton Ivor was born August 10th 2005 at 8:43 am. He weighed in at 6lbs 14oz. He has been the most affectionate, hilarious and sometimes overly emotional little man. And we are so proud of what a good person he is becoming. He already has such a clear view of right and wrong and is so loving to everyone. He is the best big brother to his baby sister. He always takes care of her and includes her in all play. We love Drayton so much and our lives would not be complete without him.

Dray's Birthday Party
Today we celebrated Dray's 3rd birthday. We went to Makutu's island and the kids had so much fun. Dray ran around climbing through tunnels for 3 ours, he was dead when we got home. Dead until we started going through his presents, that brought on a new bought of craziness. He had such a good day, I'm just having a hard time with the fact that my little man will be three tomorrow. Sniff.
