So I suck at this blogging thing....Since I last blogged, we have had another grandson & become empty nesters. Teisha graduated from high school and UVU with her Associate's Degree in May. She is now is Logan attending Utah State University. I don't know who misses eachother more....me or her? She is homesick, but other than that she is doing really good. She has been dating a boy for the last 8 months. We love having him around. Brady moved out as well a couple months ago. He is living in Salem right now going to college and working. He is doing really good too. Dave & I are adjusting to the quiet house thing pretty well. It is really different since we haven't been alone in over 33 years. I spend a lot of time alone because Dave is busy with work, meeting, and being in the bishopric. I am still working at The Victorian House part-time and tend grandkids on my days off. I love it!! Now the new grandbaby. Shawn and Jessica had a little boy on May 3rd (Teisha's birthday). He was 9lbs. They named him Taggert Shawn Shepherd. He is such a doll!! We are blessed to have in our family. Other than that, we are just loving life watching our children and grandchildren grow. Here is an overload of photos.

Wow! Well it has been quite sometime since the last blog. There has been so many things that have happen since. The biggest excitement of the family is Casey & Darcee finally got their baby boy! He was born on January 27th. He weighed in a 7 lbs & 22 inches. He is built just like a typical Shepherd boy, long & skinny. They named him Cajun Kent Shepherd.
Shawn & Jessica are expecting another baby on May 3rd. They are having a little boy as well!! One more Shepherd boy:] Watch Out!! Everything else is going really good besides it'd be nice if time could just slow down. Teisha had her Senior Ball in December and will be graduating in 5 months. Where has all the time gone? I never thought I'd see my baby girl graduate!
The twin Karsen & Jhet turned one on January 18th. There are so fun && so cute, but o boy do Jerry & Jenna have their hands full! Jhet looks and acts just like his daddy, and Karsen looks more like her mom. They are both running all over the place and into everything. They are so much fun to have around!!

Tending Twins

Image Image Image Image Image Teisha && I got to take the twins all day today while Jerry and Jenna went back to teh temple. Jerry's best friend went through the temple today, so Jerry & Jenna were able to go back through with them. I am glad they were able to go back so soon!! The twins were so much fun today. I can't believe how fast they are growing. They will be ten months old on tuesday. They are developing their own little personalities and getting to be so much fun! Jhet is a lil' wild man and Karsen is a bit more laid back! It has been such a fun day with them, but sometimes I wonder how Jer & Jen do it. It is constant feeding and changing diapers!! We are so blessed to have these beautiful little spirits in our life!

Jerry && Jenna's Big Day

On Tuesday, the 11th, Jerry and Jenna were sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. It was such a special day, and they all just glowed!! The twins were a bit naughty for the temple matrons though. Camee & Teisha tended the kids during the endownment session, then they had to take them up to the matrons for the sealing session. They screamed from the time the matrons took them until they came into the sealing. As soon as they got into the sealing room and saw their parents they were wonderful!! It was such a beautiful day!! Post more picture later, but here is a few!

November 4th- It was my birthday, and when you get my age you usually don't like it to be such a big deal. But my kids still continue to do so. Every single one of my children called me bright and early at work to tell me Happy Birthday! Dave & Teish sent me flowers & balloons as well.It was such a great day! I was lucky enough to have the whole entire come out for a little party. We had dinner and cake & ice cream. I could have asked for a better day. I am so fortunate to have such a close family that gets together so often. Teisha said something to me once that is so true. She said, "Holidays are such a big deal for some people because it is the only time their entire family gets together, and I don't feel that way. It feels like we have a holiday every sunday because we always are together." There isn't many sundays that the kids and grandkids don't come out for family dinner. I am so grateful for my wonderful family.

For Fall Break, on thursday Teisha decided to take the 3 oldest grandkids up north for a night out! They brought Teisha's best friend Derrik along too whom the kids absolutely adore. They went to McDonalds, golfing at Trafalga, then out for ice cream. I think Teisha and Derrik had as much fun as the little kids did! After they came home, the kids got to have a slumber party with their Aunt Teisha!!

New to this Blog thing

Well Teisha needed to get a hold of a former teacher, Will Biesinger, who is serving in Iraq, and a blog is the only way she knows how to get a hold of him. She didn't want to create her own blog because she thinks it is for "married couples", so she decided to create one for our family. As you can tell the family picture is a little outdated, and we've had a few additions since then. My daughter-in-laws have a problem with having family pictures while they are pregnant, so we haven't had the chance to get a new one. Hopefully in February after Darcee has her baby we will be able to have new family pictures!!
