Girls-Only Trip to Maui

Photobucket
Baby girl loved getting her toes in the sand. That and the luau is all she really liked about Maui. Crazy girl.

First things first- fresh off the plane and straight to the beach.

My beautiful daughter.

Does it get any better? My two sisters lounging in the sun. Awwwww.

Paradise.

This lizard joined us for dinner one afternoon. He didn't like us, though. He kept puffing his throat out.

Trying clever ways to shield her from the sun since her smart mommy forgot her sun hat that day.

Photobucket
She could TOTALLY pass as a polynesian.

On our catamaran to snorkel! Despite my HUGE fear of water, I actually got IN THE OCEAN and snorkeled and loved it. I wanted to go again before our trip ended. SO COOL! Sorry, no hot pics of me in my swimming suit.

Bloggers Block

If there is such a thing, I have it. Maybe it's the fact that Natalie wakes me up every 1-2 hours at night? Or the fact that the sunshine keeps teasing us?  Or the fact that when I turn my back, the boys are starting "campfires" in the backyard? Or maybe it's just the fact that I'm too LAZY to upload and  post pictures, which I assume is one reason people check my blog. In any case, I'll try to be better. Here are some of the things we've been doing lately:

*Natalie turned 6 months old. I'm heartbroken. She's a joy right now (other than the not-sleeping-at-night thing). She babbles all day long, has a wonderful belly laugh and has started sitting up.

*Dylan passed off all the required reading words for the year in Kindergarted despite the fact that the whole "reading for 15 minutes a day" thing doesn't really happen that often. Whew!

*Dawson is loving preschool. He's doing great and picking up on a lot of things his brother brings home from school, too.

*For Easter we spent the weekend in St. George with family. It was WONDERFUL and SUNNY. A great way to spend that holiday and rejuvenate a little bit. We got on KSL classifieds and rented a kick A** (can I say "ass" on here?) house to rent. Splitting the cost 3 ways made it cheaper than a hotel and we had a lot nicer accomodations along with a kitchen. Beauty.

*Dale is flying to Vegas, as I type, for work. Lucky.

*I might, MIGHT make it through the week without him. We will see.

Is it just me?

I hear this often while shopping at an un-named superstore: "John Smith, if you're still in the store, you have a message at the fitting rooms." You would think for a store whose plan it is to take over the world, they could find some employees that understand that their intercom pages are actually only heard in the store and nowhere else.  You would think.

Another Conversation with Dylan

Dylan: Oh, I like this commercial.

Me:  Why?

Dylan:  Because. Dead people.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

Natalie 2 Months

Just a few pictures of Natalie. She's changing so much; it's sad and happy at once. She's starting to smile and get a personality. We love our baby.

Princess Natalie

Today we blessed Natalie. It was small but nice, and she didn't even scream. She's such a good baby. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE having a daughter?

*That last picture is for my friends who know how photogenic I am. We have some winner pictures of me. I just thought I'd share that I did pass along something to my offspring. I'm so proud.
