Sorry to say the author of DockStar has let me know that it will not be updated to work in OS X 10.12.x (Sierra). I'll miss DockStar.

I received today an alert from Creative in Austria for version 4.0.2 which works well with Capitan 10.11.1. I recommend.

I used this app for years, before it was taken over by Creative in Austria. CiA revived the app, but levied a fresh charge for existing users, despite promises having been made that this wouldn't happen.
What's more galling still, though -- and why I would urge users to steer clear of this app -- is that CiA is charging a fee for users of the Yosemite version to upgrade to a version that works on El Capitan. The two versions are otherwise the same, and this is completely unacceptable.
I would strongly urge people not to buy this software, as the developer's actions are utterly indefensible. Rip-off merchants like this don't deserve business.
