GPU-accelerated OCR engine requires a [CUDA capable GPU] and NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit. To use the package, make sure your system meets the following prerequisites:

Check whether your GPU supports NVIDIA® CUDA®.
Install the CUDA Toolkit.
Install the NVIDIA CUDA Deep Neural Network library (cuDNN):
1. Download cuDNN.
2. Extract the downloaded cuDNN archive to your system.
3. Add the path to the bin subfolder of the folder where cuDNN was extracted to the system PATH variable.
Copy all files from bin subfolder of the folder where cuDNN was extracted to bin folder of the project.

Starting with Aspose.OCR for C++ version 24.4.0, the distributive offers basic recognition capabilities only. Additional features can be added via downloadable resources, freely available in our online repository.

This approach allows you to selectively choose which features you need for your project, keeping your application lean and modular. For example, if you only need Cyrillic characters recognition, you may omit Chinese, Hindi and other OCR models, saving significant amounts of disk space.

Aspose.OCR for C++ can also automatically download the required resources as needed, saving you time and effort in managing dependencies.
