DragonHacks is Drexel University's 24-hour hackathon which will be hosted by Drexel University IEEE on Saturday, April 13th, and Sunday, April 14th held in-person in the Lebow College Of Business. The 10th edition is bringing the brightest minds of the world's best schools to spend 24 hours creating groundbreaking new products from scratch!

Requirements

  • We will use Devpost for project submissions online
  • You must at least, register your tentative project name/team name on Devpost for DragonHacks 2024 by 10 PM on Saturday, April 13th to be eligible for the competition. Don’t worry, you can always come back and edit your submission at any time before the hacking ends.
  • Before the final submission of your project on Sunday, 14th April, make sure to opt for any or all of the categories you would like your project to be considered for (ex. Best Education hack, etc.).
  • Project should entirely be a work of 24 hours
  • All work on a project must be done at the hackathon
  • Project code or any amount of work must not be plagiarized from any uncredited sources
  • Any project submitted in any other hackathon previously must not be submitted at DragonHacks
  • Your DragonHacks project may NOT be cross-submitted to other hackathons. Similarly, we do not accept projects cross-submitted from other hackathons
  • Devpost videos should be about 2 minutes 
  • All Devpost submission MUST include a github or code repo link or your project will be DISQUALIFIED. The repo must have been created BEFORE Saturday, April 14th 2024.

  • Individuals must be 18 years old or older
  • You must be at DragonHacks to work on a project for submission
  • Your DragonHacks project may NOT be cross-submitted to other hackathons. Similarly, we do not accept projects cross-submitted from other hackathons
  • Teams must not exceed a group of 3 Members or lower than 2
  • Please show your ID at registration for age verification
  • You cannot work on your project before the event begins
  • You cannot steal another team's source code
  • The decision of judges is final for determining prizes and awards
  • Please comply with all instructions from the volunteers
  • List your universities when you submit
  • Submit your team name and/or number
